Result of The 1st international logistics photo contest in Vietnam

Three months after the start, the 1st International Logistics Photo Contest in Vietnam received 1,427 photos from 217 photographers from various countries in the Southeast Asia. After two rounds of scoring, the Board of Judges chose 12 best ones for the awards of the contest.

The contest is held in regional scale among ASEAN countries. The contest is held by the ASEAN Freight Forwarders Association (AFFA) with the cooperation of Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA) and the Vietnam Logistics Review Magazine (VLR) and with the technological sponsor of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA).

The contest was kicked off on July 16th, 2019 and to October 16th, 2019, 1,427 photos from 217 photographers from countries as Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Myanmar… The first round was scored online from October 18th, 2019 to October 22nd, 2019. A number of photos were chosen for the final round. On October 30th, 2019, the Board of Judges scored them and chose 12 best photos for awards, including 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes, 02 Third Prizes and 07 Encouraging Prizes.

Representative of the Board of Judges, Photographer Hoang Trung Thuy- Chairman of Gia Dinh Photography Club said:” The participating photos are diversified with strange, beautiful angles of views. Many of them are outstanding both in terms of content, technology and beauty”.

Nguyen Duy Minh- VLA’s General Secretary said:” The contest created a contagious impression and connections in Vietnam logistics providers’ community and in the ASEAN region. The success this year will be a premise for coming contests with larger scale in the years to come”.

These days, Hanoi is so busy when turning to the year end. Surprisingly, I have found the rare peaceful time when siting with the People’s Artist, Thai Bao. She told me that she’s just came back from Ho Chi Minh City with her team who made the MV about the song “Visiting Nha Rong Harbor”.
