DSV and Abivin have reached an agreement to partner on a last-mile transport optimisation project. Going forward, DSV in Vietnam will use Abivin vRoute, a logistics optimisation platform that digitises last-mile transport processes including dynamic optimisation of route plans and track and trace information on each delivery.
The Vietnamese logistics industry’s IT adoption rate is still quite modest despite the COVID-19 having spurred a wave of digital transformation. With the Abivin platform, DSV gains competitive advantage and positions itself as an innovator when it comes to digital transformation and optimisation of logistics processes.
“With vRoute, DSV will be able to improve process transparency and real-time visibility,” says Remco Enders, Managing Director, DSV Solutions in Vietnam and continues: “Optimised route planning and real-time Track & Trace information is aimed to improve our distribution performance and optimize our cost structure.”
Pham Nam Long, Founder and CEO of Abivin, considers DSV a strategic partner: “We believe that this cooperation will add significant value for both partners, and we look forward to providing DSV with Abivin vRoute, our logistics optimisation solution. DSV’s trust in our platform is a big motivator for us.”
